Are not the events in our life (and maybe additionally exactly how we respond to them) affected and driven by a higher awareness, which we are not mindful of? Isn’t his succumbing to anguish in the field of battle of Kurukshetra preplanned, so that Lord Krishna’s objective of coming to the earth obtains fulfilled? Did he actually have any selection to make when Lord Krishna asked him to take on the battleground after discussing to him the Bhagvad Gita?
